City Coast Motorcycles stocks the latest lineup of LAMS approved motorcycles from BMW Motorrad, Triumph and Yamaha. We also have a selection of very affordable, preowned LAMs approved motorcycles, which changes on a weekly basis.

You must be at least 16 years and 9 months old before you can be issued with a learner rider licence. You do not have to hold a drivers licence to get a motorcycle licence.

You must also either complete the Rider Training Scheme (see below) or pass the Rider Knowledge Test and a riding test (undeclared areas). You may book into and attend a pre-learner course at the age of 16 years and 6 months.

Illawarra learner riders can complete the Rider Training Scheme with Wheel-Skills. There are two levels of compulsory training required: The Pre-learner Course (Stage 1) and the Pre-provisional Course (Stage 2).

Motorcycling is a great social activity. City Coast Motorcycles supports The Litas Wollongong – a fun and friendly network for female riders of all skill levels.
